Sources of Personal Information
We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from you, such as from the forms or other information you provide to the Company when submitting Request for Quotes (RFQ) or contact forms on the Website.
- Indirectly from you, such as from your interactions with the Company’s Website, such as website browsing behavior, page views and engagement, interactions with advertisements. This data is collected using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and associated tracking technologies (Cookies/Pixels).
- From our service providers and contractors, such as data analytics providers, advertising networks, and website hosting and development providers.
- Other customers, such as from referral or business programs.
- Inferences generated by the Company’s or our service providers’ computer systems through analytics and advertising tools.
How We Use Personal Information
Personal Information Collection, Use, and Disclosure Purposes
We may use and disclose personal information, including sensitive personal information, we collect to advance the Company’s business and commercial purposes, specifically to:
- Develop, offer, and provide you with our products and services based on your request for quotes, inquiries, and contact forms.
- Meet our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts with you, including for billing or collections, or to comply with legal requirements.
- Fulfill the purposes for which you provided your personal information or that were described to you at collection, and as the CCPA otherwise permits.
- Improve our products or services, marketing, or customer relationships and experiences.
- Communicate with you about our products, services, or support.
- Administer our systems and conduct internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, improving website performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Measure the effectiveness of our Website performance, advertising, campaign performance, and optimize marketing efforts through platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn Insight. We may share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising to deliver relevant advertising, as further described in the “Selling or Sharing Personal Information” section.

Sensitive Personal Information Use and Disclosure Purposes
We do not collect or use Sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about a consumer. Accordingly, the right to limit Sensitive Personal Information does not apply.
Additional Categories or Other Purposes
We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice. If required by law, we will also seek your consent before using your personal information for a new or unrelated purpose.
Disclosing, Selling, or Sharing Personal Information
Business Purpose Disclosures
We may disclose the personal information we collect to service providers and contractors for the business purposes described in the Personal Information Collection, Use, and Disclosure Purposes section and in the table below, such as to support our business functions. For example, we may disclose information from your visits to the Company’s Website to third-party analytics and advertising tools that may deliver and measure advertising across different websites and platforms. measure our Website’s performance. Selling or Sharing Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties and have not sold it in the preceding 12 months. As described in ‘Selling or Sharing Personal Information,’ we may share certain identifiers, internet activity, geolocation (coarse), and inferences with advertising networks and analytics providers for cross-context behavioral advertising. Please see the Personal Information Sharing Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights section below.
Children and Minors Data
Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it.
Cookies and Tracking
When you interact with the Services, there are third parties that may use automatic collection technologies to collect information about your or your device. These third parties may include:

- Google/LinkedIn Advertisements

These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the Website. The information they collect may be associated with your personal data or they may collect information, including personal data, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, platforms, and other online services. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. We retain analytics data consistent with Google Analytics 4 settings, generally for up to fourteen (14) months, and up to twenty-six (26) months where configured. Advertising and marketing cookies are retained between 30 days and 24 months, depending on the platform.
The Company does not collect Sensitive Personal Information through cookies or tracking technologies. The Company provides cookies consent mechanism that allows consumers to manage cookies preferences through browser settings and cookies consent banner (where applicable). As described in ‘Selling or Sharing Personal Information,’ we may share certain identifiers, internet activity, geolocation (coarse), and inferences with advertising networks and analytics providers for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise your right to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising by clicking ‘Your Privacy Choices’ https://www.palpilot.com/your-privacy-choices/ or by using a browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor.
Storage and Retention
The Company retains personal information only for the time necessary to fulfill business and operational purposes, or as required by law. Personal Information may be deleted upon user request, when the information is no longer required for business purposes, and through periodic data management and system maintenance processes. Data stored across systems is deleted or anonymized in accordance with respective platform data retention settings and internal business practices.
Our retention periods by category are stated in the “Personal Information Categories Chart.” Where a specific period is not stated for a data element within a category, we retain it for the duration of our business relationship and as necessary to meet legal obligations and defend legal rights, after which we delete or deidentify it consistent with our data management practices.
Your Rights and Choices
If you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Know and Data Portability Requests
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information (the “right to know“), including the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you (a “data portability request“). You may exercise your right to know twice in any 12-month period. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity (see How to Exercise Your Rights), we will disclose to you:
- The categories of:
- personal information we collected about you; and
- sources from which we collected your personal information.
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information and, if applicable, sharing your personal information.
- When your right to know submission includes a data portability request, a copy of your personal information, subject to any permitted redactions.

Right to Delete and Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions and limitations (the “right to delete“). Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will delete your personal information from our systems unless an exception allows us to retain it. We will also notify our service providers to take appropriate action.
You also have the right to request correction of personal information we maintain about you that you believe is inaccurate (the “right to correct“). We may require you to provide documentation, if needed, to confirm your identity and support your claim that the information is inaccurate. Unless an exception applies, we will correct personal information that our review determines is inaccurate and notify our service providers to take appropriate action.
Right to Limit Sensitive Personal Information Use and Disclosure to Permitted SPI Purposes
We do not collect or use Sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about a consumer. Accordingly, the right to limit Sensitive Personal Information does not apply.
Personal Information Sharing Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights
You have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising at any time by clicking ‘Your Privacy Choices’ https://www.palpilot.com/your-privacy-choices/, including through a user-enabled global privacy control (GPC) or similar opt-out preference signal. We honor such signals. You can also manage cookie preferences via our cookie banner and your browser settings.
Automated Decision-Making Technology
We do not use automated decision-making technology to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. If we introduce such technology, we will update this notice and provide required access, opt-out, and appeal rights.
Right to Non-Discrimination
You have the right not to be discriminated against or retaliated against for exercising any of your privacy rights under the CCPA.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Exercising the Rights to Know, Delete, or Correct.
To submit a request to exercise your rights to know, delete, or correct your Personal Information, please email contact@palpilot.com, contact the Company at (714) 460-0718, or filing out a website contact form.
You or your authorized agent may submit a verifiable consumer request. A verifiable request must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable request to confirm the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of your signed, written permission authorizing the agent to submit the request, verify your identity directly with us, or require the authorized agent to provide proof of power of attorney.
Response and Timing on Rights to Opt-Out
In response to your request to opt-out, we will process your request, as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than 15 business days from the date we receive the request. We will only use personal information provided from your request to comply with the request.
Once you make a request to opt-out, we will wait at least 12 months before asking you to reauthorize personal information sharing.
Response and Timing on Rights to know, delete, or correct
The Company will verify the identity of the requestor and review request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable request receipt.
Privacy Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the policy’s effective date and post the updated policy on our Company Website.
